English Language Studies
With the project INTERNATIONALIZATION OF UNIVERSITY launched on 1st September 2009 the Academy of Physical Education and Sport opened a new chapter in its chronicle – English language studies.
The idea behind this project has been to substantially boost the attractiveness of the Academy’s educational offer for foreign students and to create better opportunities for the Academy’s students to study abroad within the ERASMUS programme. The means to achieve these specific goals is the introduction of several subjects lectured in English, which will be financed within the funds allocated to the project.
As mentioned above this project creates an opportunity not only for foreign students to study in English at the Academy of Physical Education and Sport but also for the Academy’s students to participate in the ERASMUS programme of international exchange. Our students will be provided assistance in their search for paid internships, which will improve their professional competence and will help them to cover the costs of their stay abroad.
Another important element of the project is a two-year English course for 30 academic teachers. Within this course the academics will be offered four hours of language classes per week (10 persons in one group) and two hours of individual tutoring per week. Additionally , these 30 academics will take part in internships abroad.
Soon you will find here the list of subjects which will be taught and the list of lectures which will be delivered in English.
